SeaManagerII provides connectivity for everyone who is critical to the purchasing process. Internal players include shipboard personnel, buyers, superintendents, accountants, department managers and internal warehouses. External players include vendors, agents, freight forwarders, logistics providers and third party warehouses. The number of roles that can be created is almost without limit; each can be configured to provide functional and monitoring capability. Competitors have focused on the ship operator to vendor interface.
